Directed by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, new hour documentary series ‘Sonic Highways’, devoted to a different American musical landmark, chronicling the history, cultural environment and people defining that city’s unique musical identity, premieres on HBO FRIDAY, OCT. 17 at 11:00 pm ET.
The series precedes a new album from Foo Fighters, scheduled for November, their first album since 2011’s Wasting Light.
