The upcoming 20th Century Fox remake of ‘Three Stooges’ to be written and directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly has had more casting couch action that Jennifer Convertibles. The project which was originally at MGM but moved over to Fox started with Sean Penn, Jim Carrey and Benecio Del Toro all attached only to soon after be unattached. Then came Johnny Knoxville and Andy Samberg throw into the mix. Now we hear that ‘Will & Grace’ star Sean Hayes has been cast as Larry Fine and he joins Will Sasso of MADtv fame who was cast as Curly last week, with the role of Moe Howard still up for grabs. The film is scheduled for release in 2012.
