The crowd at Rockwood Music Hall’s Stage 2 went wild on Friday night when international reggae sensation Shaggy, made a surprise appearance in celebration of the venue’s 15th Anniversary in NYC.
Mr. Boombastic himself (known for hits like “Angel” and “It Wasn’t Me”) joined Tex-Mex/country/rock band The Last Bandoleros on stage before posing for photos with his friends for excited fans.
Before wrapping-up, Derek James of The Last Bandoleros dedicated a song entitled “The Sweetest Thing” to Rockwood Music Hall founder, Ken Rockwood.
Other celebrities that have graced the stage at Rockwood include Lady Gaga, Neil Patrick Harris, Sting and OAR, among others.
