Palm Springs California’s version of the Hollywood Academy Awards was a dazzling event with a whose who of show business. Oscar winning actress Renée Zellweger is back and looks better than ever and received the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress for her role in Judy.
Word is Zellweger gives a stunning performance as Judy Garland.
Other winners at this year’s Palm Sprigs International Film Festival included Jennifer Lopez for Hustler’s, Charlize Theron for Bombshell, and Joaquin Phoenix for The Joker.
Zellweger on a return roll, also won a Golden Globe for Best Actress at last night’s coveted Golden Globe Awards.
