Director and producer Rashaad Ernesto Green was awarded the coveted ‘Someone to Watch’ Award for his soon-to-debut, highly-anticipated film Premature at last weekend’s Film Independent Spirit Awards Nominee Brunch at BAO Steakhouse in West Hollywood, CA.
The upcoming yearly cool awards show taked place on Saturday, February 8 in Santa Monica, CA.
As the official sponsor of the “Someone to Watch Award” for the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards, Bulleit is celebrating those in the arts and filmmaking industries who are pushing boundaries on the frontier of their craft. Each year, the award celebrates a talented filmmaker of singular vision who has not yet received appropriate recognition for their work.
And this year the $25,000 grant and award was awarded to Rashaad Ernesto Green.
