Music’s biggest women superstars were at this years City of Hope Spirit of LIfe Gala at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar. They included Alicia Keys, Sara Bareilles, and legendary executive Sylvia Rhone, as well as Megan Trainor, Yolanda Adams, and En Vogue.
Keys and Bareilles performed together a mash-up of Keys’ “Girl on Fire” and Bareilles’ “Brave.”
“I am having an out of body experience,” Bareilles said onstage.
The gala raised more than $4 million towards treatment for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
