Savanna Rooftop just opened at the Z Hotel in Long Island City.
From the owners of rooftop bar, Ophelia, Merchants Hospitality have created a lush, resort-like sanctuary on the 12th floor of the hotel offering killer views of the Manhattan skyline.
“Long Island City offers the best view of the Manhattan skyline and is extremely accessible from all of the Boroughs,” said President and Chief Executive Officer of Merchants Hospitality, Abraham Merchant. “We have created a welcoming rooftop retreat that creates a far-away vacation atmosphere, with the added bonus of the most famous skyline in the world as a backdrop.
Chad Dutkowski has created the cocktail menu which features playful drinks like frozen G&T, Hula daiquiri and mezcal based Coco Camino, while Treadwell Park chef, Chef Antelmo Ambrosio offers a light summer fare menu.
A must see is the décor featuring a series of brightly colored murals created by Brooklyn artist N. Carlos J.
