Madonna hosted an intimate 61st birthday party on her birthday last Friday, August the 16th, for her friends and family at Madame X (a fitting venue given the name of her forthcoming tour), in downtown NYC.
A well-placed source shared that there were 150 guests total, the majority of which were Madame X performers. The group enjoyed a catered Italian feast from Madonna’s friend Francesco Panella and his team from restaurants Antica Pesa and Feroce (in partnership with Tao Group).
In addition to enjoying cocktails, shots, wine and beer, the group shared heaping platters of the restaurant’s legendary Cacio e Pepe, Insalata Vignarola, Tuna Tartare, Polenta Fritta, Margherita Pizza, and Bruschetta with Anchovy and Burrata.
Dressed in a 4-star Army General’s uniform, Madonna (ahem… Madame X) and her crew started celebrating at 10pm and went late.
