Artist Susan J. Barron will be bringing a selection of works from her new series, Depicting the Invisible: A Portrait Series of Veterans Suffering from PTSD, to Aqua Art Miami (December 5-9, 2018.)
The large-scale mixed-media portraits which feature veterans who have suffered from PTSD, inscribed with their personal stories, will be shown at HG Contemporary’s booth.
When Susan was made aware of the fact that more than 10% of military families live below the poverty line and 22 veterans commit suicide she decided to help raise awareness. Her mission is to provide a platform for veterans to share their stories.
