LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton held their annual gala celebrating Brooklyn and honored Dustin Yellin of Pioneer Works and Joe Melillo of BAM.
The evening was a tour de force of sensory stimulation and one of the best parties of the summer for more than 500 guests. The dunes of Longhouse became Yves Klein Blue while smudge cleansing totems burned in massive floral displays and abalone shells.
The cocktail hour featured trestle tables of grilled vegetables and artisanal cheeses as well as tempting barbeque pits. Musicians from both Revel in Dimes and The High & Mighty Brass Band played through the night, while patrons  viewed the new LongHouse art installations which included two rocket sculptures by Dustin Yellin, an installation by Helmut Lang as well as Alyson Shotz.
