Women In Film, Los Angeles hosted the 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards presented by Max Mara, Lancôme and Lexus at The Beverly Hilton honoring Oscar winner Brie Larson among others. Brie received the coveted Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.
The Crystal Award was established in 1977 to honor outstanding women who, through their endurance and the excellence of their work, have helped to expand the role of women within the entertainment industry.
Next up, Larson will make cinematic history as the star of Marvel’s first female-led superhero film, Captain Marvel. The film will release March 6, 2019.
