That’s mega-star Kim Kardashian West, wife of larger than life wiz Kanye, who took part in ELLE’s first-ever personalized cover.
Fifty thousand ELLE subscribers will receive a copy of the magazine with a special personal cover a note from Kim — mother, sister, wife magnate–made out to the subscriber.
Here’s the first-ever personalized magazine cover (inset) of its kind featuring Kim Kardashian West for the April issue.
“I am always looking for new ways to connect with my fans and ELLE’s first-ever personalized cover allows me to connect with them in a way that’s never been done before,” said Kim Kardashian West. “When Nina and her team approached me about this idea I was so excited to partner with them on this. Kim opens up to ELLE in a revealing interview discussing everything from her relationship with Kanye to using a gestational carrier to whether or not she’ll have more children, and much more.
ELLE worked with HP and Quad/Graphics for the printing of the personalized covers – which were printed on a high-speed HP Indigo digital press to print.

On caring less about what people think of her:
“At the beginning, I looked at people’s opinions. Now I’m content in my life, and I don’t care. The Things that make me happy now are different. But I swear you have to be born for this. It’s not for everyone. I know I can handle it.”
On why four children would be her maximum:
“I don’t think I could handle more than that. My time is spread really thin. And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom give the husband as much attention as the kids.”
On using a gestational carrier:
“I hated being pregnant. But as much as I hated it, I still wished I could have done it on my own. The control is hard at the beginning. Once you let that go, it’s the best experience. I would recommend surrogacy for anybody.
On her relationship with Kanye:
“He’s taught me to have more of an opinion. I’ve taught him to be a bit more calm or cautious. We’re a good balance.”
