Actor Lucas Hedges won Best Breakthrough Performance for Manchester by the Sea, which also took home the honors for Best Film at this year’s National Board of Review Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street.
Award winning actress Edie Falco looked perfect among a crowd including Matthew Broderick, Martin Scorsese, Octavia Spencer, Aldis Hodge, Adam Driver, Riley Keough and Quvenzhane Wallis.
This year’s Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress went to Amy Adams and Naomie Harris respectively, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor went to Casey Affleck and Jeff Bridges respectively, and Peter Berg and Mark Wahlberg won the Spotlight Award.
