AVENUE on the Beach hosted a summer kick-off party at Zach Erdem’s new Japanese fusion restaurant Kozu in Southampton.
The new restaurant features a Japanese-Peruvian inspired kitchen with renowned Head Chef John Keller, Sous Chef George Nikolopolous, formerly of Le Bernardin; and Sushi Chef Joseph Kim, formerly of Morimoto.
Hosted by Avenue President Randi Schatz, the event celebrating luxury bedding designer Nell Diamond on the June cover, featured DJ Super Dave from Allen Dalton Entertainment Group, VieVite wine and champagne, Mamont Vodka, and a make-up station from Blushington.
Over 350 guests toasted to the new season including Richard Burns, Zach Erdem, Margo Manhattan, William Kehler, Consuelo Vanderbilt, Pamela Morgan, Victor de Souza, Roni Blanshay, Dan Kahn, Nurit Kahane Haase, Maryanne Horwath, Michael Shaheen, Susan Breitenbach, Dawne Marie Grannum, Elena Ayot, Sara Johnson Kaplan, Mark Masone, Leesa Rowland, Larry Wohl, Lauren Day Roberts, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Jane Pontarelli, Bill Sclight and Cheri Kaufman.
