Director John Asher’s actress mom Joyce Bulifant came out to support her son in his newest film ‘Po’, the story about a recently widowed engineer struggling to raise his 10-year-old son with autism.
Knowing a thing or two about the subject, Asher’s son Evan, (mom is Jenny McCarthy), was born in 2002 and diagnosed with autism.
Evan’s grandmother Joyce, no stranger to Hollywood, starred on the Mary Tyler Moore Show back in the day.
In conjunction with Autism Awareness Month, the film which stars Christopher Gorham, Julian Feder and Kaitlin Doubleday, had a special screening at Paramount Studios.
