In town during Oscars week, global goddess Oprah Winfrey made time for this year’s ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood awards luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel.

The Beverly Hills event hosted by President of Essence Communications Michelle Ebanks, and Editor-in-Chief of Essence Vanessa K. De Luca saw the likes of many including Chris Rock, Jurnee Smollet-Bell, Nate Parker, Meagan Good, Kelly Rowland, Tika Sumpter, Keke Palmer, Amber Riley, Serayah, Lala Anthony, Margaret Avery, and Grammy nominated Leon Bridges, performed “River” followed by a stirring rendition of “Brown Skin Girl.”

Tracee Ellis Ross, Debbie Allen and Nina Shaw were honored and presented with awards..
