Actor Adrian Grenier was in full swing at the Samsung Studio at this year’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Sans Entourage, Grenier steps away from his Vinny Chase role and plays it straight in his new indie film Trash Fire, playing a man who is forced to confront the past he’s been running from his whole adult life. This leads him to become entangled in a web of lies, deceit, and murder.

Said writer-director Richard Bates Jr., “I cast Adrian because the first independent film I ever saw when I was a kid back home in Virginia was (1998’s) The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, and I loved him in it. People seemed to forget all the great work he did in independent films in the ‘90’s. He’s an underrated actor and I thought it’d be fun to re-introduce him back into that independent world as something entirely different from his more recent roles.”
