Mayor De Blasio enjoyed a romantic meal with his wife at The House, a magnificently restored 1854 carriage house in historic Gramercy Park.
The twosome drank Riesling, and shared heirloom tomato and charred watermelon salad. For their main course, Mr. De Blasio had the black angus NY strip and Ms. McCray had the Day boat sea scallops.
They had no room for dessert.
The House staff claim that the Mayor loved every last bite and that he wanted a special meal before his trip to Israel.
