The silent and public auction will showcase works by over thirty artists in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, works on paper, embroidery, photography and animation.

VivArte provides a wonderful opportunity to discover, learn about, view and acquire exceptional pieces by some of Colombia’s most respected artists including Edgar Negret, Fanny Sanin, Manuel Hernandez and Olga de Amaral, as well as cutting-edge newcomers, such as Natalia Castañeda, Santiago Parra and Ivan Argote.

Highlights include works by recent award winning artists such as Carlos Motta, recipient of the Future Generation Art Prize 2014, awarded by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, and Juan Fernando Herrán, recipient of the 2014 Prix Pictet, the global award in photography and sustainability; Fanny Sanin, whose work is currently the subject of a retrospective at the Museo Nacional in Bogotá; Monika Bravo and Carlos Castro Arias, whose work is now on view at the Venice Biennale and Bienal de Mercosur, respectively.

The Silent Auction will take place during our Cocktail Reception on Tuesday, November 17th. The Live Auction will take place within the Phillips LATAM auction on Wednesday, November 18th.
