I would have to agree with Goodman. Wahlberg and Ferrell in ‘The Other Guys’ were comedy gold.
Paramount’s “tug-of-war style conflict” ‘Daddy’s Home’ will star Ferrell as a mild-mannered radio executive who is ready and eager to take on the role of stepdad to his wife’s two kids, but clashes with their freeloader of a real father, played by Wahlberg.
I’m laughing already.
Sean Anders of ‘Horrible Bosses 2‘ is at the helm with a script from Entourage writer Brian Burns, which of course Wahberg was a producer.
Anders, John Morris, Chris Henchy, Adam McKay, and Etan Cohen all contributed to revisions to the script, and Red Granite Pictures and Ferrell and McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions will produce.
The film is expected to start shooting later this year.
