Child actresses turned designers Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen celebrated the launch of their two new fragrances for their venerable fashion brand, ELIZABETH AND JAMES, at SEPHORA Columbus Circle.
Named after their siblings; brother James Trent and actress Elizabeth who just got engaged, the 27-year old twins had an exclusive event where guests sampled both ELIZABETH AND JAMES Nirvana Black and ELIZABETH AND JAMES Nirvana White, and had the opportunity to meet with the designers, while treated to music courtesy of DJ Harley Viera-Newton.
The fragrances are created in tandem with Firmenich.
ELIZABETH AND JAMES Nirvana White is an alluring floral musk with notes of peony, muguet and musk, and ELIZABETH AND JAMES Nirvana Black, is a sensual, woody scent with notes of violet, sandalwood and vanilla.
The architectural lines, rich gold accents and distinctive texture of the bottles, designed by Ashley and Mary-Kate, are stylistically inspired by a vintage keepsake and mirror the design elements seen throughout the Elizabeth and James brand.
