Father of four Ethan Hawke, already an Oscar nominee for his past acting and writing, does the Hollywood pre-Oscar circuit again for his current nomination in ‘Before Midnight’ for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay.

The Tony Award winning talent brought along fifteen-year old daughter Maya, daughter of his gorgeous first wife Uma Thurman, to the 13th Annual AARP’s Movies For Grownups Awards Gala at the Regent Beverly Wilshire.

Kathy Griffin hosted the organization’s annual gala, which honored outstanding writing, acting, and filmmaking with distinct relevance to the 50+ audience.

Susan Sarandon, Bruce Dern, Steve McQueen, Lupita Nyong’o, Alfonso Cuaron, June Squibb, Naomi Watts, Lee Daniels, Will Forte, Melissa McCarthy, Wynona Ryder, Hawke’s writing partner Julie Delpy were among those that attended.
