Nothing can stop actress and sex symbol Raquel Welch.

At 73, and wearing a short black shimmering dress, Welch is nothing short of fabulous on the red carpet at the Costume Designers Guild Awards last Saturday night.

After becoming a sex symbol in the 1966 fantasy/adventure film ‘One Million Years B.C.’, the actress spoke at the event about how the fur bikini she wore changed her life.

Welch told Deadline.com, “I owe a huge debt of gratitude and respect to the contributions costume designers have made to our industry. Let me put it this way: God was very good to me, but, well, it was the fabulous costume designers who knew exactly where and how to apply the frosting.”

Sweet.
