Academy Award nominee Matthew McConaughey presented Ethan Hawke, Julie Delpy and Richard Linklater with the Critics’ Choice Louis XIII Genius Award for “Before Midnight” at the 19th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.
It was nearly 20 years ago that it all began with the film “Before Sunrise,” , then “Before Sunset“, and now “Before Midnight” a romance ignited between two soul mates on a train to Vienna and defined a generation.
The Critics’ Choice LOUIS XIII Genius Award recipients, Ethan Hawke, Julie Delpy and Richard Linklater also learned that morning they’d been nominated in the “Writing – Adapted Screenplay” category for the 2014 Academy Awards.
