Kris Kristofferson and Bonnie Raitt looked great at the 16th Annual GRAMMY Foundation Legacy Concert ‘A Song Is Born’ held at the Wilshire Ebell which celebrated songs that became smash hits.

The music superstars were two of seventeen artists who performed an amazing number of beloved songs that were top 40 tunes and some Grammy winners.

Bonnie Raitt performed ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me” and thanked the writers of the song Mike Reid and Allen Shamblin, who demonstrated the original uptempo honky tonk version of the song that sounded like a polka, and Kris Kristofferson, who griped that 77 is a tough age, silenced the crowd with a chilling rendition of “For the Good Times.
