The 27th American Cinematheque Award honoring Jerry Bruckheimer at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills

Hollywood mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer standing with wife Linda, was honored with the 27th American Cinematheque Award at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in front of an A-list acting crowd.

Said the 70-year old bigwig; “No one is more shocked than myself that I am standing here tonight just having received this prestigious award surrounded by Hollywood royalty not to mention a dame and a knight.”

Referring to two of his presenters Dame Helen Mirren and Sir Ben Kingsley, Bruckheimer thanked his team including agents, directors, writers, actors, crews, lawyers and studio executives. “They are all part of the creative family whose talent makes me look good — and whose friendship I treasure. Each and every one of them has played an important part in my career.”

Class act, his team must be thrilled. The producer also thanked his wife and daughter Alexandra.

Bruckheimer, who was the first producer ever honored with this award, went from mega movie success and transitioned into mega TV success.

 Crowd included Marg Helgenberger, Justin Bartha, Sumner Redstone, Cuba Gooding, Jr, Jon Lovitz, Jon Voight, and Brad Grey.

Some of the A-list taped tributes; Tom Cruise, Nicholas Cage, Johnny Depp and Martin Lawrence.
