‘CBGB’ the Movie West Coast Premiere Party powered by Ciroc made for a rockin’ good time with a ton of celebs in attendance including surprise musical performances from a few very cool rock stars.
The upcoming film about the famous NYC club stars Ashley Greene as Lisa Kristal and Malin Akerman as Debbie Harry.
Currently available OnDemand through October 5th, and set for national release in selected theaters on October 11th, it’s directed, produced, and co-written by Randall Miller.
The crowd was astonished by the musical fury of surprise guests Wayne Kramer (frontman of MC5) and Gilbey Clarke of Guns ‘N Roses. The two rockstars, joined by a backing band, entertained the crowd with The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and MC5’s proto-punk hit “Kick Out the Jam.”
Crowd included: Stana Katic, Johnny Galecki, Justin Bartha, Taylor Hawkins, Bradley Whitford, Estelle Harris, Joel David Moore, Keene MCrae, Rodney Bingenheimer, Rhea Perlman, and Richie Ramone.
