Jamie Foxx has been filming ‘Annie’ all over NYC so it’s no surprise the superstar made his way to hot spot Marquee for a night of partying. However, that wasn’t all the Oscar winner had up his sleeve.
Foxx, who’s featured on the cover of this month’s Men’s Fitness, made his way to the stage and gave a surprise performance for the crowd. Jamie asked the DJ to play his song “Golddigger,” saying he wanted to sing it for the crowd. In addition, he sang a few more songs after that to the thrill of the surprised partygoers.
Marquee also played host to Miami Heat player LeBron James (in town to play the Brooklyn Nets for pre-season), and his teammates Mario Chalmers, Ray Allen and Michael Beasley.
The Heat players, dressed casually, arrived around 12:30 am. Accompanied by security, none of them were drinking but they were still dancing and having a great time.
The group left together at 2:30 AM, right before Jamie Foxx got up on the mic.
