Looks like Jake Gyllenhaal took a page out of Matthew McConaughey‘s playbook in the dramatic weight loss department.
Here’s the 32-year old on the set of his upcoming film looking slim and boney, playing a freelance crime reporter who discovers a dark underground world in Los Angeles.
Gyllenhaal, who’s also producing the film, recently said in order to stay true to the role, he stayed in a “mode where I was always a bit hungry.”
Bill Paxton and Rene Russo also star.
