Actors Amanda Seyfried and an almost unrecognizable Rainn Wilson will facial hair attend day eleven of the US Open and spend time in The Moët & Chandon Suite. Wilson and Jason Biggs competed in a mixed doubles exhibition match against pros Monica Seles and Chris Evert.

Others spending time in the suite included Chef Roble Ali, Tiffani Amber-Thiessen, Alan Cumming and Oliver Platt.

Amanda Seyfried, a perennial tennis fan, rooted for Andy Murray in his ill-fated final match of the tournament, nervously cheering him on from the Moët suite.  She talked of her “obsession” with Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.

As the evening session kicked off, Tiffani Amber-Thiessen asked husband Brady for something sweet while watching Novak Djokovic handily beat his semifinal opponent.

Brady retrieved a US Open napkin on which he had drawn a caricature of himself and words along the lines of “if you want something sweet, consider your hubby,” before producing another napkin with an asparagus.

He ultimately dutifully sought out two macaroons, paired with a golden goblet of Moët Imperial, and proceeded to playfully defend his wife against an onslaught of male admirers who were craning into the suite to get a better look at the White Collar actress, and who even tried to crash the suite to meet her.

amanda rainnEver-dapper Alan Cumming, joined by husband Grant Shaffer, buzzed a bit about the reprise of his role as the Emcee in the January revival of Cabaret on Broadway, especially the news that he will star opposite Michelle Williams as Sally Bowles.

After an evening of celebration and relaxation before rehearsals begin, he trotted home in his very Scottish wool suit to take care of his ailing puppy, who he claimed was sick as a canine with a swollen face, unfortunately causing her to begin to resemble the late Margaret Thatcher.
