The story based on an interracial friendship that blossomed during a steamy summer in Houston in 1983, was written by old friends Woody Harrelson and Frankie Hyman, and brought out stars including Tony Danza and Steve Guttenberg with an after-party at Hurley’s Saloon.

Runs through September 9.
