Located in the very hip West Village, Home Restaurant is well known for amazing seasonal home-style fare and this season Home’s executive chef, John Cordova, has put his own unique and fun twist on a classic frozen summer treat, the ice-cream sandwich.
The Chocolate Chip Cookie Cream Cheese Ice Cream Sandwich is comprised of two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies (the restaurant sells them to go by the batch) stuffed with cream cheese ice cream.
This frosty decadent treat can be recreated and personalized at home by using any of your favorite homemade cookies and ice cream flavors, but Cordova’s version is definitely a true winner.
His Chocolate Chip Cookie Cream Cheese Ice Cream Sandwich is an off-the-menu favorite that the chef will whip up upon request.
