Last season Dick Van Dyke and his brother Jerry Van Dyke appeared on MSC’s stage in a limited engagement of The Sunshine Boys. This season Dick Van Dyke teams up with the Vantastix , who have played to sold-out crowds throughout the nation, (as seen at the Hollywood Bowl, TV Land Awards and Larry King Live) to celebrate and fundraise for theater and the arts in Malibu.
The Vantastix ensemble was formed as a result of a chance meeting of Dick and Mike at a local Malibu coffee shop. The group that started out as “just for fun” has built up an impressive foot-stomping, toe-tapping repertoire of Dick’s best-loved songs and standards.
