In honor of Mother’s Day, Ben Affleck just posted a video on his Facebook page dedicated to the Moms in his life, and the “sacrifices, selflessness and courage” of women around the world.
In the video from Ben’s recent trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), you’ll see touching footage of the women and organizations working tirelessly to provide for their families.
Founded by Ben in 2009, Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI) focuses on working with and for the people of eastern Congo, and believes that local, community-based approaches are essential to creating a sustainable and successful society in eastern Congo.
