Betty White is far from off her rocker. In fact, the 90 year old famed comic actress is working more than most these days.

“I don’t have time to think about retiring. I’m blessed with good health. I just turned 90 in January and I inherited some wonderful good genes from my mother and dad. So being blessed with good health gives you the strength and loving what you do and – is a privilege that keeps you going. So I’m just happy as a lark.”

Premiering April 4, Betty White’s Off Their Rockers’ is like Ashton Kucher’s Punk’d for the older generation. Betty even made time for a media call taking questions to promote this thing.

Why this Betty?

“It was a very popular show in Europe. As a matter of fact it won several awards and stuff. And when they brought it to me it sounded like something that might be popular here so we thought we’d try it. I love what I do for a living and I am so fortunate to still be able to work in this business.”

Turning the tables on the senior stereotype, the show takes senior citizens to the streets to pull shockingly hilarious pranks on the younger generation all behind hidden cameras. Sassy seniors on a mission, looks like the seven-time Emmy Award winner is actually also helping unemployment with the older generation in this funny process.

Co-executive producer Chris Coelen who said “Betty is the most talented comedian ever” must be right because Miss White said, “I Did the first broadcast ever done in Los Angeles.”

What did Betty want to be growing up? “A Forest ranger.”

Finally, some expert TV advice from the TV Queen who’s ‘Hot In Cleveland’; “ You can help a good show but you can’t save a bad show.”

The Queen has spoken.

“People have been telling me that I’m ‘off my rocker’ for years,” says White.  “Now I can prove it!”
