Monday night, AARP The Magazine hosted its 11th Annual Movies For Grownups Awards Gala, the Oscars of the 50+ crowd, in Hollywood.

Guest of Honor Sharon Stone was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and other stars such as Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Octavia Spencer, Martin Scorsese, Kathy Griffin, and many others attended the gala and walked the red carpet.

Glenn Close won Best Actress for her role in Albert Nobbs and Oliver Litondo took Best Actor for The First Grader.

Martin Scorsese pictured here with Sharon Stone and Michael Nouri, won Breakthrough Achievement for Hugo.

The Descendants, directed by Alexander Payne was named the Best Movie for Grownups by AARP The Magazine, while The Help, starring Octavia Spencer was awarded with Reader’s Choice.
