Talk show host and food mogul Rachael Ray celebrated her 1000th episode of her award-winning daytime food show at Chelsea eatery Donatella.
Iconic Italian wine brand Martini and restaurant owner and TV food personality Donatella Arpaia hosted the soiree for her 100 +staff and team at her pizza restaurant and presented Ray with a massive bedazzled magnum bottle of bubbly complete with her name and 1000th episode sparkling on the front.
Said Ray, “You’ve got to be f*ing kidding me! This is AMAZING!!”
Donatella proceeded to take her on a tour of the restaurant, ending up right by her iconic gold-tiled pizza oven. After patiently waiting for a fresh pie to emerge, Rachael and Donatella coyly intertwined arms and began feeding each other slices of the margarita pizza.
Apparently they were so excited when they locked arms, that some of the tomato sauce flew onto Rachael’s shirt. The foodie pros burst out laughing so loud that the rest of the party turned to see what had happened. The two hammed it up for a moment, flashed everyone another smile, and got back to munching away.
Everyone at the bash enjoyed Donatella’s famous meatballs, arancinis, mini bowls of roasted butternut squash soup, an assortment of pizzas, eight different types of cupcakes, and signature MARTINI cocktails including the Bella Dona and 8th Avenue cocktail as well as mini bottles of MARTINI Sparkling Rosé and Asti.
