WCBS co-Anchor Chris Wragge was honored at the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Gala & Auction Thursday night and his award was presented by NDSS Goodwill Ambassador Chris Burke, who played Corky on the ABC show Life Goes On.

The 26th Annual NDSS Gala & Auction also attended by WCBS Chief Weathercaster Lonnie Quinn, took place at Gotham Hall with more than 200 people joining in to celebrate people with Down syndrome and those who support them, raising over $200,000.

“This was truly one of the highlights of my life,” said an emotional Wragge, “I have loved this organization and all those involved with it for years. If NDSS needs me for anything, I promise I will always be there. This night and the Giants winning the Super Bowl all in the same week is almost too much to handle! Thank you NDSS. I am honored and humbled.”
