The amazing and likeable  Neve Campbell will grace the small screen in Lifetime’s upcoming two-hour original movie Sworn to Silence, which will also serve as a backdoor pilot for a potential series.

Lifetime is really trying hard to become a contender with the major networks, and along with Renee Zellweger and Jennifer Love Hewitt who are busy doing major things with Lifetime, Campbell has landed a deal with the lady- lovin’ network to develop scripted dramas and original movies.

In Sworn to Silence, Campbell will star as a former member of an Amish community in Ohio who returns to her hometown to serve as its chief of police. She ends up leading a murder investigation that brings up painful memories of a series of brutal murders that happened in town when Campbell’s character was a child.

Said Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks “Growing our scripted programming remains a top priority for Lifetime and our longform strategy provides us with a strong stable from which to identify potential series,” said, in a statement.  “I’ve always admired Neve’s work.  She is a proven talent who will bring a high level of intensity and presence to this role and Sworn to Silence.”
