With all that newfound MTV money burning a hole in his pocket thanks in part to the network’s revival of his classic cartoon television series Beavis and Butt-head, famed animator Mike Judge has purchased a fine Santa Monica, California spread.
Located just minutes from the Santa Monica Pier, the mid-70s design resides on nearly a quarter-of-an-acre and comes complete with a fully furnished commercial gym, detached guesthouse, and a combination saltwater pool and spa. Inside, the 3,700-square-foot villa features sports impressive aesthetic details such as exposed-beam ceilings, dark wood floors and custom ironwork found throughout.
Judge paid $4.45 million for the Mediterranean-style estate that was formerly home to Richard Taite, the CEO of the celebrity rehabilitation center known as ‘Cliffside Malibu’.
