Citizens For Water co-founder Joe Levine is a family man doing good. He’s concerned about the environment and preserving his kid’s access to drinking water by doing something about it. The 56 year old started non-profit organization Citizens For Water “committed to protecting and preserving America’s water resources today and for all future generations,” according to its website. “Water is precious, it’s the next gold,” said Levine, a father of two. “It’s becoming rarer and rarer for citizens to have access to pure water.” His cause has attracted high-profile names including Oscar nominee and all around great guy Mark Ruffalo, who has lobbied Congress before and also serves on the Citizens For Water team. A huge fundraising concert with big names and local artists is all in the works. Find out more at www.citizensforwater.org
