Mexican-meets-barbecue favorite Mexicue will open its second brick-and-mortar restaurant on the Lower East Side on Thursday, September 8  followed by another food truck soon after with a continued menu of tacos and sliders, which take the spicy, sultry flavors of Mexico and blends them seamlessly with Southern American smoky barbecue.

The second opening of its first brick-and-mortar restaurant on 7th Avenue between 29th and 30th Streets, will be on the Lower East Side at 106 Forsyth Street between Broome and Grand and offer an expanded version of the truck menu, as well as flavorful salads and sides.  Some of the new menu items, also found in the 7th Avenue location, include Smoky Caesar Salad and Spicy Potato Salad.

You too can join the daily crowded lines at its various locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn between the hours  11 am to 2 am. Potential stops include Downtown Brooklyn, Park Slope, Colombia University, NYU, and lower Manhattan.
