I wasn’t sure what to expect when I went to see a screening of Warner Bros. ‘Final Destination 5′ in 3D because I missed the previous ones, so I went in with absolutely no preconceived notions. The 90 minute film grabs you by the grapefruits from the first second and leaves you juicing for more by the time the lights go up. The movie about a group of co-workers stalked by death after avoiding a horrific and massive bridge collapse is exciting, thrilling and chilling, full of horror, and brings your worst fears to fruition. That being said the 3D glasses that amazingly bring you so up close and personal and in your face quickly help the morbidity and disgust to disappear just like the appealing cast of characters. ‘Final Destination 5 in 3D’ opens Friday, August 12.

Rounding out the cast are P.J. Byrne (“Dinner for Schmucks”), Ellen Wroe (TV’s “Huge”) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (TV’s “The Bold and the Beautiful”).
