ABC Talk Show host Kelly Ripa and hubby Mark Consuelos just announced they are producing a reality show about the off-screen lives of soap opera stars, for NBC owned E! Entertainment.

Executive Produced By Ripa and Consuelos, the Eight-Episode, Hour-Long Series Debuting September 25 at 10:00 PM, ET will feature a ‘who’s who’ of daytime television including Kelly Monaco (General Hospital), Nadia Bjorlin (Days of Our Lives), Kirsten Storms (General Hospital), Farah Fath (One Life To Live), JP Lavoisier (One Life To Live), and Galen Gering (Days of Our Lives).

According to NBC owned E! Channel, the docu-series called ‘Dirty Soap’ will take a “titillating look at these stunning thespians as they navigate high-profile careers during pivotal moments in the industry and deal with their own real-life drama, which often rivals that of their daytime counterparts.”

“Having met on the soaps we know all too well how much work and dedication it takes,” said Ripa and Consuelos, who fell in love in 1995 as co-stars on ‘All My Children.’

Ripa and Consuelos, who have a NYC Soho based production company together called Milojo, named after there three children’s names, have many projects under there belt including the Emmy nominated ESPN doc ‘The Streak. Find out more at www.milojo.com
