This summer’s much talked about wedding and ultimate breakup of playboy extraordinaire Hugh Hefner & MUCH younger almost bride-to-be Crystal Harris was so shocking that Lifetime Television did a one-hour special about it called ‘Hef’s Runaway Bride’ airing Tuesday, July 19 at 10p ET.
The all-access special will show behind-the-scenes footage and never-before-seen conversations of Harris and Hefner during the final weeks of their engagement as they approached their highly anticipated nuptials. The world’s most famous bachelor and playmate girlfriend were all set for their fairy-tale wedding at the Playboy Mansion in LA but after months of planning and just days before the event, Harris called it off. The scandal soon began to spread and rumors swirling of Crystal’s music career and her disappearance into the night days before the wedding and leaving Hef at the alter. The cameras are also there as family and friends hear the news including Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson, Hef’s sons Marston and Cooper, and Crystal’s BF and Maid of Honor Anna Berglund. Charming.
