The famed Magnolia Bakery where cupcake obsessed people have waited on line for way too long, will now give the Upper East Side the same prerogative as they prepare to set up shop at Bloomingdale’s. Yes, in between your designer clothes shopping you can fulfill your sweet tooth craving and step two to the right and one to the left and there’s Magnolia. With a street entrance, and one conveniently located inside the store, Magnolia will open later this summer and serve a full menu of breakfast items as well as all baked goods including their famous cupcakes and cakes making this there fifth store in NYC, one in LA and Dubai and one coming soon to Chicago . I guess cupcakes is a good business because the new production facility they’re building on Park Ave at 121st street will from now on bake all the goods and a first time online and nationwide delivery service will be born.
