That’s right, Bravo’s king of midnight fun Andy Cohen and E! News’ Giuliana Rancic were approached by NBC, Donald Trump and Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization to host the show and gladly and excitedly accepted. Said Giuliana, “When I heard I was doing this, the first question-well first thing I said was oh my gosh. Thanks you so much. I am so excited. And then the second thing I said was can I do wardrobe changes a la Beyonce and Cher? And they were like who do you think you are? And then they said yes. And so I’m doing three wardrobe changes which is very exciting.”

The two glamour hosts who seemed to have great chemistry on the phone will also be joined by Kelly Osbourne who will offer sideline fashion commentary. Pageant owner and boss Donald Trump who hired Giuliana’s now husband Bill Rancic as the very first ever ‘Apprentice’ said, “I have met Donald several times throughout the years. And what I love most about him is he is such a fan of pop culture. Like he knows everything going on in entertainment now and so does Melania. And I just think it is hilarious. So I’m a big fan. And I’m very excited that he asked me to do this with Andy.”

The charming Andy Cohen who holds down a day job of programming executive for the very successful Bravo network and oversees all of their shows such as Real Housewives, Top Chef and Millionaire Matchmaker just to name a few, said about Donald, “I hosted a Q&A with him in Vegas a few years ago. And the thing that I found amusing and that I liked about him was that I found that you really can ask him anything and he’ll answer it. So I found that quite entertaining.”

And now that Andy is doing more on-air gigs how does he balance it out? “It’s not easy but it’s you know, I just spend- the on air stuff is really, you know, I’m lucky because I love live TV and my show is live. And so I really just spend a few hours a week after work after my job is over doing my live duties. So really I am you know from morning until night I’m focused on Bravo programming and then you know kind of after-hours is when I have a little fun in the Bravo clubhouse.”

That’s where he hosts his late night shtick show ‘What Watch Happens: Live” which will air right after the pageant with guests Caroline Manzo, Giuliana Rancic and who knows. Continued Andy, “The reunion shows really only end up being you know seven or eight days out of the year. So, so far it’s okay. It can get a little hairy and a little stressful but it’s all fun. And I happen to have two great jobs that I love very much so I am very lucky.”

The Miss USA Pageant will air this Sunday, June 19 live from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas at 9pET on NBC.
