Les Moonves and his staff at CBS are looking to save their top sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ but how or if they can do it is up in the air. E! News just reported that while Sheen was on a press tour this weekend talking to ABC and NBC (probably with the hopes that maybe they would hire him since his falling out with CBS,) Moonves spent time chatting with John Stamos about replacing Sheen. Apparently, CBS chief Moonves approached Stamos at movie mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Night Before benefit at the Beverly Hills Hotel. They were at the bar talking and Les asked John if he’d be interested in replacing Charlie,” one source says. It wouldn’t be to play Charlie’s character but they talked more about introducing a new character.” No doubt Hollywood agents are bombarding Moonves with all their clients and ideas on how to move forward with CBS’ highest rated sitcom now that Charlie Sheen has been banned from the Warner Bros. set. Evidently, Stamos tweeted that this story wasn’t true. Stay tuned.
