Vin Diesel, who has the next installment of ‘The Fast and the Furious,’ ‘Fast Five’ hitting Imax theatres April 29, is going back to his roots and producing an original web series about the lives of bouncers. Diesel, who has a newish baby girl with his girlfriend and who was a nightclub bouncer before hitting it big, plans to create 18 seven minute episodes, the first of which he already wrote, based on his experiences working the door. With more than 20 million Facebook fans, his company One Race along with Fox Digital Entertainment has been looking for material to develop for some time. The low- budget production will cast unknown actors as well as former bouncers for authenticity, and thankfully Diesel is expected to make an appearance. I worked with Vin years back and he’s great.
