Austin, Texas here we come for the annual South by Southwest Music and Media Conference happening March 11-20 to check out what is known to be the launching pad for creative and up and coming talent. Considered one of the most revered and fun events of the year, it features some of the industry’s key players and this year’s interactive festival includes media presentations, film screenings, comedy, and music showcases from hot talent everywhere. Duran Duran will showcase their new album ‘All You Need is Now’ by performing at Stubb’s BBQ on March 16 on a bill with buzz act James Blake and soul sensation Raphael Saadiq and will also be the featured Interview at the SXSW Conference in the Austin Convention Center on March 17. ‘All You Need Is Now’ is the 13th Duran Duran album. The album was released digitally last year and will be released on CD in the USA and Canada through S-Curve Records on March 22. Bands to keep your eye on this year include Cloud Nothings, Kitten, Laura Jansen and The Wilderness of Manitoba.
